The Berean Observer

"These [the Bereans] were more fairminded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so." (Acts 17:11; NKJV)

About Me

My photo
Bob Wheeler
Lawrenceville, PA
I was raised in an evangelical Christian home, and made a profession of faith at age seven. Upon graduation from high school I attended Baptist Bible College of Pennsylvania for two years, dropped out for financial reasons, and found myself in the Army serving tours of duty in both Viet Nam and Germany. After separation from active duty I transferred to Eastern Mennonite College from which I graduated in 1975 with a B.A. in history. I then went to Westminster Theological Seminary where I studied for two years, earning an M.A.R. degree. Since then I have worked a variety of secular jobs. I have lived in a suburban neighborhood, an inner city, and now a rural area. I am a widower with three daughters and am also an active Sacred Harp singer.
